Specifications
For our Redwell heating elements, we only use materials that meet the highest standards of quality and longevity and meet the ecological ideals of today's society.
1. Core memory element:
- a pure natural product
- incombustible (melting point 1315 ° C)
- electrically non-conductive
- no stratification in freezing
2. Electronic part:
We use a high heat conductor which allows us to build low electro-smog heating elements. The elements are equipped with a TÜV prescribed safety thermostat which protects them from overheating and removes any possible fire hazard.
3. Enamelled Steel surface:
Enamelled steel is the result of the combining high-grade steel and tempered glass
under a high-tech production process. Enamelled Steel is printable, scratch-resistant, acid resistant, fade resistant and virtually indestructible.
This surface is available in different colours and, yes - even with pictures by screen printing. Enamelled steel surfaces also have an extremely favourable heat radiance characteristic (for minimum convection).
An additional positive feature of the material is it has very low conductivity. This property allows us to touch the heaters for a short time without being burnt (even for children, there is no danger of burning).
4. Back surface:
In order to provide the Redwell heating element with the required stiffness and torsion we use a 0.55 mm thick, galvanized sheet metal for the back surface.
5. Combination of surface, core and back:
To guarantee a long-lasting and stable unit, we use a specially developed adhesive. This was designed specifically for our requirements (appropriate viscosity, emission free and environmentally sound).
The special adhesive is applied to the components, which are then combined in a high pressure press.
6. Frame:
The frames can be supplied in aluminium, wood or painted white.
7. Mounting Method:
The heating elements are designed so that they can be wall mounted with hidden brackets or ceiling mounted with the use of an additional component.
